Biomechanical Assessments
Biomechanical assessments look at how you move in detail to try to deal with any unresolved movement problems or find any potential injury provoking movement patterns. This can be in the recreational walker to the athlete who participates in sport at any level.
At Physiolistic we can assess running and walking on the treadmill to look for risk factors that may cause injury or be preventing full recovery. Alex can also prescribe and make shoe orthotics if they are required for normal movement patterns.
How we treat
Alex takes you through a range of specialist tests and video analysis of your gait and posture before prescribing exercises, stretches or possibly orthotics in a 1 hour assessment. He can also suggest the correct footwear to help reduce your risk of injury.
