How we treat

Manual lymphatic drainage is the use of a specific massage technique. This stimulates the lymphatic system within the body to facilitate lymph flow towards the venous system reducing swelling around the body and encouraging the lymphatic system to drain more efficiently in the future.

Myofascial release is a soft tissue massage which incorporates slow stretches to gently release layers of fascia under the skin. Using this technique scar adhesions can be broken down restoring free movement. As these adhesions are released the visable scar may become less prominent and defined. This technique has proved hugely successful on mastectomy scars.
