Neck pain can come from many sources including muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and discs in the neck. Not only is it painful but it can also be debilitating. Environmental or social factors such as stress can also have a profound effect on the onset of neck pain.

It is worth noting that neck issues are not always perceived in your neck but can be felt throughout the shoulder and arm to the tips of your fingers and can be experienced as pain, numbness or tingling. Upper neck problems are commonly experienced as a headache that radiates from the base of the skull.

The good news is that physiotherapy is very helpful and effective in relieving neck pain. Expertly applied hands-on techniques by your physio together with the latest technology and specific exercises have shown to improve pain relief and recovery. Treatment in the early days of your condition is more effective than later so the sooner you make contact with us the better.
