Physiolab - Ice Compression Therapy

hysiolab- ice compression therapy machine is used for acute injuries and post-operatively. It has a pressurised cuff that constantly circulates cold water around the injured area until the optimal temperature is achieved. this ensures that the cooling that occurs is far superior to an ice pack on the skin.

The Physiolab is scientifically proven to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation and therefore optimise recovery. It is used by Elite athletes to ensure their rapid return to activity.

We have cuffs for the ankle, knee, thigh, hip, back , shoulder, elbow and hand

Compex - Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation

Compex is an ideal rehabilitation partner.
It can reduce swelling, pain and prevent muscle wastage associated with injury and post-operatively.

It can be used to build muscle while in plaster or on crutches. You are able to load the muscle strongly without load on the joint.

It also helps to strengthen the stabilising muscles (core and glutes) and can help to re-educate normal muscle patterns.

It is used by elite athletes for rehab and recovery.

i-walk

Do you hate crutches? Why wouldn’t you? Crutches hurt your hands, wrists and underarms.   But more than that, crutches (and knee scooters) make it impossible to do everyday tasks because you don’t have use of your hands or arms.

The iWALK is the alternative for all below knee injuries (toe and ankle injuries). It gives you hands-free / pain-free mobility and gives you back the ability to live a functional, independent lifestyle. So now pushing a shopping cart, taking the stairs, walking the dog, going to work are all possible again.

Knee Scooter

The knee walker is designed to be an alternative to crutches for people recovering from foot surgery, breaks, sprains, amputation and ulcers of the foot etc.

The leg-pad provides comfort and stability and the knee walker can be steered for increased manoeuvrability.

Wheelchair

This Wheelchair is an aluminium transit wheelchair with a really helpful range of high quality features. Its ultra compact frame and lightweight foldable design makes it the perfect travel chair. The Access is fitted with padded armrests, comfortable upholstery and detachable footrests for your comfort.

The Aircast Knee Cryo Cuff with Cooler is an easy to use device that circulates ice cold water to provide cold therapy in the treatment of injuries.

The Aircast Cryo Cuff with Cooler combines the therapeutic benefits of controlled compression to minimise bleeding and swelling in the knee, and cold to minimise pain. The cuff is anatomically designed to completely fit providing maximum benefit.

The Cooler element is Universal to all Cryo Cuff models. The Cryo Cuff Cooler holds water and ice needed for 6-8 hours of cryotherapy - much longer than an ice pack.
